Our love story began in Reno, NV where we met through school fraternity and sorority life. Depending on who you ask, our stories of who made the first move are different. What we do agree is the interest in each other started over milkshakes from In-N-Out.

We continued hanging out and enjoyed each other's company while pursing our college degrees. Javier decided to make it official and asked Katlyn to be his girlfriend on April 21, 2017. Since then they continued their education and graduated from UNR in 2019, where a year later they decided to move in together. This is when they added their fur baby, Ellie, to the family.

We continued growing our love and getting to know each other. Javier proposed to Katlyn on June 13, 2023 at the park near their house on Tuesday where it caught Katlyn totally by surprise. They then went to Mexico City to celebrate their engagement and have been excited for their Wedding Day ever since.
