We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner which will include two entrees each and two sides. Our venue is able to accommodate dietary restrictions, so please be sure to let us know of any in your RSVP. If more information would be helpful, just reach out!

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

If your plus-one's name or "and guest" is written on your invitation, we invite you to bring a date!

We love your children, but due to limited venue space and budgets, we ask that only adults attend unless your children are specifically listed on the invitation and/or RSVP. We hope that the advance notice means you are still able to attend!

The ceremony and reception are both at the Allure on the Lake located at 526 Indian Boundary Rd, Chesterton, IN 46304. To get there from Rte 94, travel south on Rte 49, turn right on Indian Boundary Rd, and the Allure on the Lake will be on your left, behind the McDonalds.

Yes - there is sufficient parking near the venue. If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels (Best Western and/or Waterbird Inn), you can also park in front of either hotel and walk around the front to the Allure on the Lake.

Take the South Shore line out of Millenium station to the Dune Park station. From there, you can take a quick 5 minute Uber/Lyft to the venue or hotels!

Yes - we have courtesy blocks at the Best Western, Waterbird Inn, and Hilton. The Best Western and Waterbird Inn are a short walk from the venue, and the Hilton is ~5min drive away. Visit the "Travel" page for additional details.

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony and reception are within a 5 minute walk from the Best Western and Waterbird Inn if you are concerned about transportation. Ride-share services are also easily accessible.

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, there are additional accommodations in the surrounding areas, including hotels and casinos in Portage, Valparaiso, and Michigan City.

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm CT sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 11:00pm CT.

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoor. If you're in need of some fresh air, feel free to head out on the back patio overlooking the Lake!

The doors to the venue will open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time (i.e., doors open at 4:00pm CT). We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place in the reception space following the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites, a photobooth, and more. Make sure to sign the guest book during this time if you haven't already!

Our reception will end around 11:00pm CT. We are not planning to have an after party.

We may be gathering in the Best Western common area on Friday evening following our rehearsal dinner - we'd love to welcome you if you are arriving on Friday night! We invite our out-of-town guests staying at the Best Western to also join us for complimentary brunch (nothing fancy, just some breakfast bites from the hotel) on the day after our wedding. Note - breakfast is provided for Best Western guests only.

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Make sure you can dance your heart out in whatever you decide to wear!

Wear whatever color/style you'd like. If you'd prefer to not match the wedding party, you'll want to stay away from green.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 655 W Irving Park Rd Apt 4901, Chicago, IL 60613 (we'd prefer gifts be delivered to our home, rather than brought to the wedding). A wedding card box will be at our reception.
