James and Katlyn have always been close to crossing paths their entire lives, living within walking distance of each other as children in Mauldin, SC. Life went on, only to finally meet in August of 2023. Katlyn was on a break from graduate school and needed help watching her two dogs, when their mutual best friend recommended that James watched them. The rest was history. Katlyn had one year left of school in Texas and they experienced long distance until March of 2024, when James moved to Fayetteville, NC with Katlyn to finish out her last 6 months. Once she graduated, they moved back home to Simpsonville, and are so excited to see where their lives go from here!
