Depending on if you ask Katrina or I the details of our story vary but this time Katrina let me tell the story this time from my POV:

Katrina and I knew of each other when we attended North Plainfield High School but we never talked much other than a casual head nod. Katrina claims I was the band geek and she was the athlete but in reality she just wasn’t ready for me yet.

After high school graduation in 2011, we both went our separate ways off to college. I went to school in Massachusetts and she attended Rowan University but North Plainfield was not done with us yet….

Summer 2015: I returned home and began my law enforcement journey and in March 2016 started working as a cop in North Plainfield. During the last hour of an overnight shift, I was dispatched to a call for a motor vehicle accident on the Route 22 overpass… I rolled up to an accident involving a Paco Landscaping truck and in the backseat I saw familiar face; “Katrina from high school”. I played it cool did my report and went about my business.

A year or so later during my shift I walked into the “Report Room” and to my surprise I saw Katrina and she told me she was hired by NPPD Parking Authority. Again, you snubbed me in high school, so I had to play it cool… That lasted about a year and the next thing I know I’m playing late night iPhone Beer Pong and talking to my best friend.
