Our Wedding

Katrina and Brett were both students at the University of Waterloo, which is where their story begins. A cheerleader and a football player, Katrina and Brett both graduated with the same degree and have since been working in Toronto where they also live with their furbaby, Ruby. After many years together, Brett proposed in Waterloo Park and they look forward to starting their married life together in 2017.

Joey and Brett were roommates at the University of Waterloo after meeting as teammates on the Waterloo football team. 

Joey Storozuk

Alison and Katrina met through the University of Waterloo's cheerleading team in 2008. She is an Account Manager for a chemical supply company and is the owner of Ruby's dog crush, Bentley. 

Alison Jones

Sam, Katrina, and Brett were in the same program throughout University. Sam is a Customer Experience Manager for a mobile sports  application and lives in downtown Toronto.

One of Brett's best buddies since high school, Daryl is now studying to be a Pharmacist in the United Kingdom.

Alex and Brett met in high school in Brantford. Alex is now living the dream as a freelance Graphic Designer.

Ali and Katrina were long-time roommates at the Combercheer student house throughout University and met - you guessed it - through cheerleading. She recently finished her Masters of Public Health in Edmonton  and is residing and working in Calgary.

Kristen is Katrina's oldest friend after meeting almost 20 years ag0 through softball and volleyball.

Mike is Brett's oldest brother and the father of the flower girl, Macie, and ring bearer, Gavin.

Danielle and Katrina met in Grade 8 and have developed a great friendship since. Danielle shares her time between Hamilton and Guelph and is a Recreational Therapist.

Paul is the younger of Brett's two elder brothers and currently resides in Hamilton.

Katrina's brother, Greg, will act as the emcee for the wedding reception. In case he goes rogue, please understand that he tends to exaggerate and, at times, make up blatant lies about his childhood with Katrina. He resides in Boston with his amazing wife, Gaby.

5-year-old Gavin is the couple's nephew and will be acting as the ring bearer. As a Spider-Man and hockey fan, we will certainly add some flair and personality to the ceremony!

Eric lived with Brett for three years while they were at the University of Waterloo and is now a Police Officer in Thunder Bay.

Eric Polini

Macie is the couple's 7-year-old niece and will be the life of the party during the reception. Her energy and dance moves will impress everyone in attendance.

Liam lived with Brett in Waterloo and was a gem of a "mystery" roommate. Liam owns a food truck business in the KW-area and is a talented chef.

Cory is an engineer and currently resides in Vancouver where he loves to enjoy the outdoors and make Brett insanely jealous. He and Brett have been friends since high school.
