Our story began in 2019 when Mark asked Katrina to be his girlfriend on the beach in Charleston, South Carolina. It was simple, sweet, and the beginning of an adventure we’ve been on side-by-side ever since.

From Toronto to Charleston to Belfast, we’ve built a life together one move, one home, and one “Wait… are we really doing this?” moment at a time. Each place brought new memories, new favourite food spots, new friends, and new stories that we still laugh about.

In August 2024, Mark asked Katrina to marry him. Since then, we’ve moved back to Toronto, started new jobs, and learned home, ultimately, is with each other

Somewhere along the way, our little family grew with the addition of Guinness. Despite being named after an Irish classic, he does not like water, sand, or really anything that resembles a beach. But he loves us, tolerates our travel ideas, and keeps life entertaining.

Even though Guinness refuses to share our love for the ocean, the beach has been a thread through our journey, our place to talk, laugh, dream, and occasionally debate where to get dinner.

We’ve packed a lot of life into these years together, and as much as we love the memories we’ve made, we know the best chapters are still ahead.

We’re especially excited to bring everyone together, from all the places we’ve lived, all the memories we’ve made, and all the people who have shaped us into who we are today, to celebrate with us at our wedding.
