Our Wedding

Will and I met back in high school where we attended the Detroit Lakes prom in 2018. We talked for a while after that and in 2020, we started hanging out and dating. It’s amazing to think we’ve now been together for four years! Will and I both graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Over the years, we’ve loved doing the little things together, like grilling, cooking, and taking long walks. Trying new restaurants has become our favorite way to have mini adventures. And of course, spending time with my niece and nephew, Audri and Kip, has always been special for both of us. A big change came in August of 2024 when we welcomed Maverick, our sweet puppy, into our lives. He’s the best boy and loves nothing more than hanging out with his mom and dad. Now, we’re so excited to start this next chapter of our lives together, and we can’t wait to celebrate this day with all of you. Here’s to the future, and all the memories we’ll make from here on!

Teeya and Katrina have been friends since high school, they have been with eachother through the big stages of life, college, and their first big girl jobs. They both work at Bobcat and they love to confuse the people they work with, with their similar looks and blonde hair!

Grace and Katrina became close friends in high school. They were roommates for 2 years in college and love spending time together! Grace has been a bonus little sister to Katrina for forever. They have endless memories together and can’t wait to create even more!

Annie and Katrina became friends in high school. They became roommates in the dorms at MSUM during Katrina’s second year and Annie’s PSEO year. They ate Tostitos cheese dip like it was going out of stock!!

Sophie and Katrina have know each other for years through Katrina’s sister Hannah, later on the two of them became very close. Soph has always been like an older sister to Katrina and can’t imagine life without her!

Katrina and Sierra became friends in college. They were apart of the “Dahl Hall Girls” and spent many fun times together. Sierra, also known as “Parky” was always the one to get Katrina out of her comfort zone and meet new people!

Katrina and Brooke met shortly after Brooke’s family moved back home from NY. Their families lived on the same road as each other where they spent a lot of time roller blading, jumping on trampolines and swimming in Brooke’s pool. Brooke and Katrina lived with each other for 2 years in college where they spent a lot of time together with the boys, Jackson and Will.

Aunt of the bride, Glauntie Sarah (Glamourous Auntie) is someone that has been a part of Katrinas life since she can remember. From countless spray tans in the garage to hanging out in the glamper, Sarah and Katrina share many unforgettable memories!

Aunt of the bride - Katrina became close with Julia when she started watching her boys, Brock and Gus in the summers. Julia is also the middle child with two sisters like Katrina is. Katrina is so blessed to have someone who is always there to talk to when needed and understands the middle child role like she does!

Cousin of the bride - Emily has always been another older sister to Katrina, to long phone calls, sleepovers, and long weekends at the lake, these two have many unforgettable memories with each other. Emily has always been Katrinas go to person for anything that she needs to talk about, or needs help doing, she is always there!

Cousin of the bride - Molly and Katrina have many memories together but her favorite one of all is the time when she picked up a live muskrat to save her dog. HA! Yes, she really did that, an emergency room visit, and rabies shot later, all was good. Katrina can't imagine this animal loving girl not by her side on her big day!

Arlene has been like a second mom to Katrina since she can remember. From making her famous pizza roll dinners to spending countless weekends at the camper in Park Rapids together, she’s always been around. When Jason came along he blended right in with our families craziness and has been along for the ride ever since. These two are family to Katrina and Will and can’t imagine them not apart of their day!

Katrina's aunt and uncle are some of the most caring and generous people we know. They have always been there with love and support, creating cherished memories—from tubing down the river to sleepovers at their house in Brainerd. Auntie Gwen and Uncle D have a special way of making everyone feel loved, and when Will came into the picture, they welcomed him like family. Katrina and Will are deeply grateful for their presence in their lives and the many ways they show their love and care!

We don’t have a hotel block set up for our wedding weekend — so feel free to stay wherever you'd like. We highly recommend checking out VRBOs in the area; there are some really fun and cozy spots to choose from!

Travel

Trolls have been placed all around Detroit Lakes. During your free time while in town to celebrate us, this is such a fun thing to do, especially for the kiddos! Start in the park by the Pavilion to find all the trolls, happy hunting!
