Our mutual friend set us up- Shout Out to Sara Persha! Without you, there would be no us! Matt went to high school and college with Sara and Katrina works with her at Rogers. Katrina boldly asked Sara if she had any single friends that would be a good match for her. Sara said yes, she had a perfect guy in mind! Sara planned for Katrina and Matt to go and play Bingo at the Bear Trap with her and Colton, Sara's husband and Matt's best friend. Sara told Katrina about this plan a few days in advance but didn't tell Matt Katrina would be there until about 10 minutes before! Admittedly, Matt was not happy at first to be blindsided. However, it worked out as Katrina and Matt hit it off!

Matt asked Katrina out for a first official date which was pushed back for 2 weeks due to Katrina getting COVID! Thankfully, Matt was patient and the two went on quite the dinner date to Artisan 179.

First photo together! Matt asked Katrina to be his date to his work Christmas party. Matt introduced Katrina to his co-workers as his girlfriend, things were official!

Katrina got Matt tickets to the Journey concert for Valentines day and shared she was in love with Matt. The feelings were reciprocated :) Things were getting serious! The Journey continues!

Matt and Katrina move in together! The two make their apartment a home. Home is wherever the two are together <3

1-Year Anniversary celebration in Door County! Little did Katrina know how much more special Door County would become for her and Matt in the future ;)

The most special day, Matt proposed! Katrina said YES! Best day ever! The Engagement took place at the couple's favorite place, Door County during the Fourth of July weekend which is the couple's favorite holiday! Matt surprised Katrina by having both families in Door County for a celebratory dinner! Shout out to Matt's sister Megan for coordinating the day complete with an itinerary!

Matt and Katrina set the wedding date and book the venue! The engagement celebration continues with the best family and friends!

2 years together and the Best is yet to come! Cannot wait to be Husband and Wife on October 19, 2024!
