What is the dress code?
Semi-Formal attire for both the ceremony and reception.
Please don't wear white.
The bridesmaids dresses are dark green.
When and Where Do I RSVP?
Please RSVP on this wedding website under the RSVP tab. Please RSVP By September 3rd, 2024.
Will Kids Be allowed at the wedding?
Yes, kids will be allowed at the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will be recorded. We kindly request you keep the little ones quite. Thank you.
Where/When is the Ceremony/Reception?
Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be at the same venue, Canterbury Castle Village. The Ceremony will be at 2:30pm in the Chapel, including the signing of the Marriage Certificate and a bubble-riffic exit! This will be followed by a short break for pictures, and the Reception cocktail hour will begin at 4:00pm in the King Richard Hall.
Will there be parking at the Venue?
Yes plenty and free parking!
Will there be a shuttle from all the hotels to and from the venue?
Yes we have reserved a shuttle bus that can transport people from all three hotels to the venue before and after the wedding.
Where should I stay?
You're welcome to stay where ever you want! Find a nice AirBnB, or under our Travel tab you'll find 3 different hotels with which we have booked a block of rooms with. As a bonus the shuttle we have will service all 3 of those hotels.
Will there be a Meet and Greet?
Yes. We will have a Meet and Greet Friday October 4th. Details to come..
What will the shuttle schedule be?
Specifically; TBD.
But it will be available to and from, for the beginning and then towards the end of the night.
Details will be added here when everything is negotiated with the shuttle company.
What time should I arrive if I'm not on the shuttle?
We would suggest 10 minutes before the Ceremony start time of 2:30.
Where do I sit?
During the Ceremony please sit where ever you feel the most comfortable.
During the Reception you will have seating assigned, be on the lookout for a seating chart display, we'll try to make it hard to miss!
Do I get a Plus One along with my invite?
Due to the large guest list we can't allow for literally everyone to have a guest with them. However, if your invitation states "and Guest" after your name in the address field of your envelope then please bring along whomever your heart desires!
If the envelope has been trashed prematurely, or you feel we messed up and should have added a Guest for you, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.
We would rather answer the question than to miss someone accidentally.
Can I take photos?
Yes of course! But please don't use your flash during the Ceremony. Thanks!
Are there smoking areas?
Yes the venue allows smoking in the parking lot and on a designated deck outside the main reception hall.
What's for Dinner?
Hors D'oeuvres of domestic cheeses and fresh vegetables with dipping sauce will be served during cocktail hour.
We will then have an elegant buffet including a house salad, fettuccine alfredo pasta, garlic whipped potatoes, and sauteed green beans.
Entrees will be; Chicken Tuscany and Lemon caper Salmon.
Later in the evening assorted pizzas will be provided!
Will there be a kids meal?
Yes, the kids meal will be chicken fingers and fries.
What will the beverage situation be?
Open bar starting at 4:00. Have fun!
