Katy has loved Disney since she was little. Jalen's love for Disney didn't start until 2018 when he went on his very first Disney trip. Since then they have been to Disney just about every year since. The magic at Disney is incredible, the food is fantastic, and obviously the rides are so much fun. In 2022 they began running half marathons with runDisney and Katy is running her first Marathon at Disney in January 2024.

Please be on Disney property no later than the morning of October 2nd and you can leave as early as October 4th in order to be available for all of the events.

Jalen and Katy will be at Disney from September 30th to October 7th in order to spend both of their birthdays in the most magical place on earth.

From Sept 30th-Oct 4th we will be at the Grand Floridian, and we will transfer to the Riviera Resort for Oct 4th-Oct 7th. The Grand Floridian is on the monorail transportation route, and the Riviera is on the skyliner transportation route.

From any Disney resort you can take a bus to Magic Kingdom, and then the monorail to either the Grand Floridian between Sept 30th and Oct 4th. From the 4th - the 7th of October, the easiest way would be to take a bus from your resort to Hollywood Studios and then the skyliner to the Riviera. If you are staying at a resort on the skyliner, then you can simply take the skyliner to the Riviera.

Specifically for the welcome party and the wedding reception you do not need to pay for park entry. If you are going to the parks in the morning prior to either event or on any other days, yes, park entry tickets are required. If you are attending the event, the entry is already taken care of.

I would say cute and comfortable. Sun dresses, polos, dress shirts what ever you are most comfortable in. This is by all technicalities our rehearsal dinner, with an in park twist that everyone is invited to. I would say party attire, but doesn't have to be as nice as a wedding. Also I'd wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking to our location.
