Sydney Killeen - Maid of Honor
Sydney and I met in college and became fast friends our sophomore year. From late nights and endless laughs to now working at the same company, she’s been such a constant in my life. She’s seen my entire love story with Noah unfold from the very beginning (and even got a few rides home from noah from the bars in college when I went back home for the weekend!). Sydney has been there for us through every high and low, and both Noah and I feel so lucky to have her by our side on this day.
Jake Ray - Best Man
Jake’s been my best friend since I was five. From catching toads in the pond outside our houses to riding our bikes all over town, we’ve been through it all together. These days, we mostly keep the tradition going by gaming most nights and catching up on life. Not many people get to say they’ve had the same best friend their whole life — but to me, Jake’s more than that. He’s my brother, and I’m beyond lucky to have him standing by my side on this day.
Addy Roberts - Bridesmaid
Coming into this group of lacrosse boys was a lot, but Addy — already a constant as the team manager — made it feel easy. She knew the lay of the land and welcomed me right in. If there was ever a hangout with the boys, I could count on her being there too. Getting to know Addy was such a joy — she’s unapologetically herself, hilarious, and full of energy. Before long, we were spending time together on our own, whether playing Chameleon, grabbing dinner, or going for drives. Even after she moved back to Minnesota after college, we’ve made sure to stay close and always find time to catch up.
Zach Schmitt - Groomsman
Schmitt is probably one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. I had the privilege of sharing the field with him for four years in college and calling him my captain — but more importantly, I get to call him one of my best friends. From the dumb things we did in college to the late-night talks about life and relationship advice, he’s been there for me through it all. He’s the kind of friend everyone wishes they had, and I’m lucky enough to have him beside me on this day.
Kali Smit - Bridesmaid
Kali and I met in college when we lived on the same floor, and before long we became roommates — and then roommates again for two more years after that! She’s one of the easiest people to get along with and has such a kind heart. Being around her has always felt effortless and full of laughter. Even now, we keep up our biweekly dinners and always cherish the time to catch up and stay connected.
Ryan Gartner - Groomsman
Ryan is the definition of the “give the shirt off his back” kind of person. We first met in high school playing on opposite teams, and we’ve been friends ever since. I still remember when he told me he was moving back to Dubuque — I knew right then our friendship was about to grow even stronger. He’s always there when I need him, loyal to the core, and without a doubt the goofiest kid I know.
Lindsey Brinkmeier - Bridesmaid
If the picture doesn’t show it, Lindsey and I go way back — all the way to preschool! We grew up together in our small hometown and have made our own fun through so many chapters of life. Lindsey is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and can make any moment a good time. I feel so lucky to have had her by my side through every season of life.
Logan Farley - Groomsman
Logan Farley is kind, caring, and just the right amount of goofy. From spending countless hours in my freshman dorm room talking or playing video games, to living together every year after that, we were pretty much inseparable. On the field, we might’ve pushed each other’s buttons, but once the pads came off, he was one of my closest friends. If you ever get the chance to sit down and talk with Logan, you’ll probably end up in a three-hour conversation about space or the latest in the flight world — and honestly, that’s one of the best things about him. He’s always been an amazing teammate and an even better friend to this day.
Joey Maniaci - Groomsman
Joey — or Jobo as we call him — is probably one of the funniest people I know, and definitely the shortest of the bunch. The constant back-and-forth about his height and him calling me an ogre somehow turned into a pretty great friendship… even though he’s a Packers fan. We met in college playing lacrosse with the rest of the guys, and from the start, he’s been the kind of friend who will always stand up for you when it counts. Between his jokes, his chill personality, and all the times I’ve pushed his buttons just to hear him fire back, it’s easy to see why this friendship has stayed so strong.
Gavin Hughes - Officiant
Gavin is my built-in relationship advisor — he’s actually the one who pushed me to ask Katy out, so we both owe him big time for that. He’s the guy who can light up any room and is always down for an adventure with me and the boys. I’ve had the privilege of sharing the field with him too… even though I’m definitely better than he is (he won’t admit it, but we all know). Gavin’s been there for me when I’ve needed him most, and it means a lot to have him not only standing up here with us, but also officiating one of the biggest moments of my life.
