Please join us for our Welcome Reception the night before our wedding hosted at the provincial museum. Come and go as you please, drinks and appetizers will be served The Rooms is the iconic museum, art gallery and archives of Newfoundland and Labrador that showcases the province’s history, art and natural heritage. Due to conservation reasons the facility does not allow live, cut, potted plants or flowers, fur, feathers, or bubbles. Scent free and no smoking. Don’t worry, it’ll still be fun! The Rooms are a 10 minute walk from downtown. Parking There are 2 visitor parking lots: one accessible from Bonaventure Ave and Harvey Rd, another accessible from Harvey Rd near Tim Hortons. $2 per hour - Credit card terminals are located in the lot. Cash and debit payment available in the lobby. Accessible Parking for permit holders is located off Bonaventure Ave, in front of the building to the right of the main entrance. Admission to the exhibits and galleries is not included with the Welcome Reception. However, feel free to come and go between the reception and the exhibits. Food and drink are not allowed in the exhibit areas. Katy likes the Art Gallery and Alex enjoys the Newfoundland Regiment and WWI, Beaumont-Hamel. We are excited for you to join us for our wedding at Admiral's Green Clubhouse in Pippy Park! Guests may start to arrive at 4:45pm for a 5:15pm wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony, there will be a short intermission where guests will exit to the foyer for the room to be flipped for dinner service which will start at 6:30.
