8:30 PM- Please join us for a champagne toast to welcome all of our guests to our wedding weekend! We have space reserved in the Garden Room at 8UP Elevated Drinkery until 10:00pm. 5:30 - CeremonyThe ceremony will be held in the Beaux Arts Ballroom on the 4th floor of the Henry Clay.The Henry Clay is connected to the Hilton Garden Inn via the 6th floor of the hotel. 6:00 - Cocktail HourImmediately following the ceremony, guests will head downstairs to the 2nd Floor "South Room" for cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres. 6:45 - Reception BeginsEnter the 2nd Floor Grand Ballroom for dinner and dancing the night away! Weekend Events

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn and encourage guests to stay there as it is connected to the wedding venue. Otherwise, there are many nearby hotels to choose from. 

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn. When calling the hotel directly at (502) 584-5175 be sure to request the group rate for "Smalley &amp; D’Agostino Wedding Block".If booking through the website use the Room Block Booking Code:SDW21. A direct link is included at the bottom of this page. 8Up Elevated Drinkery &amp; Kitchen is located on the rooftop of the Hilton, and the hotel is connected to directly to the venue for Saturday's festivities! Other nearby hotel options within a few blocks of the venue include&nbsp;the Embassy Suites, Seelbach and Brown Hotel.

With a stay at Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown, you'll be centrally located in Louisville, steps from Louisville Palace and minutes from Fourth Street Live! All Major League Baseball bats are made at the Louisville Slugger factory and museum in downtown Louisville. Admission to the museum includes the factory tour and a mini souvenir bat!The factory and museum is about a mile from the venue.

Home of the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs houses a 2-story museum showcasing the history of the Derby. Select the 'Barn and Backside' morning tour to see racehorses training, or the 'Historic Walking Tour' for a guided tour of the historic Churchill Downs Racetrack.

Kentucky Derby Museum

The Speed Museum is the oldest and largest art museum in Kentucky, located adjacent to the University of Louisville campus. The Speed houses ancient, classical, and modern art from around the world. The focus of the collection is Western art, from antiquity to the present day.&nbsp;Visits to the museum are free on Sundays and also include a featured free program hosted by the Museum.

Things to Do

Alex and Katy met a year after Alex's career took him to Louisville. They had their first date at Garage Bar in the summer of 2017.Their dates became more frequent, and they were soon spending nearly all their free time together. They eventually bought a "fixer upper" in their favorite neighborhood in Louisville. Despite all the renovation projects, they managed not to drive each other completely nuts!While staying 'healthy at home,' Alex managed to sneak out of the house to pick up her engagement ring. Knowing that the Kentucky Derby is Katy's favorite time of year, he waited until Derby weekend to ask her to marry him. For the first time in nearly three years, Katy was completely speechless as he slipped the ring on her finger.

After speaking with our friends and family, we know at least 80% of our guests will be fully vaccinated by June 19, 2021. Our venue is following all state guidelines and is currently operating at 75% capacity.

Guests can park in the attached Clay Commons covered garage, which also provides valet for Hilton Garden Inn guests. The Henry Clay is also conveniently located within walking distance to three surface lots operated by River City.
