Our first date was a day skiing at Vail. Craig told Katy she was the first new person he had skied with in 10 years. He was a little nervous that she wouldn't be very good, but when she told him she wanted to ski the moguls he knew it would be a good day. We followed the day skiing with lunch at Pepi's in the Village.

More outdoor adventures followed and we made great memories together as we skied, hiked, biked and fished through the spring and summer. Craig helped Katy re-landscape her yard when her sewer pipe had to be replaced and she knew he was a special one.

We took a road trip to Florida to check out the beach. The trip turned into an opportunity for Craig to buy a condo to renovate for the winter and later rent out. Katy told Craig she wouldn't return to Florida without a "very serious" intention from him.

Craig took Katy to Cozumel on a dive trip and proposed with a beautiful engagement ring under the ocean. She said YES!
