Blake was born in Powell Wyoming in May of 2001 and moved around for most of the beginning of his life. Moving back and forth between Montana and Wyoming, his favorite thing to do was helping his pompa, nickname for grandpa, feed cows. He has lived in Billings since 2010 finishing out school at Skyview High School class of 2019. During high school Blake and his buddies would run around Billings being menaces and enjoying the freedom that came along with being able to drive. Blake was a 3 sport athlete competing in track, soccer and swimming. Blake went to state multiple times for all sports and lettered 9 times throughout his high school sports career. Blake went to college at the University of Providence on a pole vaulting scholarship where he tore his ACL and decided that school wasn't for him. Blake is now through his first year of an electrical apprenticeship and is looking to continue that field down in Wyoming.

Katy was born in Billings, Montana January of 2003. For the first 17 years she grew up in small town Park City, Montana. Katy's favorite activities there growing up were running through the neighbors' sprinklers, running amuck with all the neighbor kids in the area, and going and shooting her bow with her father, and occasionally helping her mother in the garden even though the thing was HUGE, and she dreaded every time she had to help water it. Beginning her freshman year of high school, her and her two siblings Gavin and Anna transferred schools to Columbus. Katy began her high school career by joining the volleyball team, choir and the track team. Sadly, the sports had to come to a devastating end her sophomore- early junior year due to a back injury, but still to this day will she sing her little heart out. Right before the start of senior year, Katy's family had moved to Billings, Montana where she had finished up going to high school online graduating from Skyview Highschool class of 2021. After graduation Katy took on a full-time job as a Veterinary Technician at Granite Peak Veterinary hospital, where she would help assist with the doctors during appointments and surgeries. She continued doing so with a couple other local hospitals for roughly over 2 and a half years. At this time, she is planning on going back to school to become an esthetician.

Blake and Katy's story began in July 2021. They had met through following on social media where they had begun talking. The first time they officially met, they had gone to dinner at the McKenzie River pizza co, where they had instantly hit it off spending the whole time talking and laughing. After dinner they went and drove around listening to music, laughing more, and ending the night dropping her off back at her car. Blake was scared to make a move and gave her a small hug before we both went home. When Blake got home his dad had noticed his demeanor and asked who he went out with. Blake couldn't hold back the smiles and his dad made fun of him for being head over heels for a girl after only one night.

After only two weeks, the L word slipped out of Katy's mouth, and it took Blake a second to realize what she said. Over the next few months, we continued driving around and going on dates. In December Blake got Katy a promise ring and her parents thought that we had gotten engaged without Blake talking to her dad first. The same thing happened in 2023 as Katy got Blake a promise ring.

Blake asked Jason, Katy's dad, to dinner one night in late February early March and asked for his permission to have Katy's hand. On March 25th after going out to dinner with our best friends Robbie and Nichole, Blake ran to the bathroom as Nichole tried to convince Katy to take off the jacket that she was wearing even though it was snowing outside. Blake was in the bathroom getting the ring ready and making sure that he gave himself a pep talk. Katy began walking towards the truck as we said goodbye to our friends, Blake got down on one knee and Katy failed to turn around. Blake had to say her name and she finally turned and stopped in her tracks. As she walked towards him bawling her eyes out, Katy asked if Blake was joking, and he shook his head no. The speech Blake had prepared went out the window and all he could come up with was the question, will you marry me? Katy said yes and went to tell anyone and everyone that she could.
