One evening, Ian was scrolling through his “People you may know” section on Facebook when this beautiful lady, Katy Tice, caught his eye. Ian was working long, hard hours and finally had a night off of work. So, he decided to shoot his shot and message this girl…

Meanwhile, Katy was lounging in her apartment when a Facebook notification came across her phone with a message from this handsome stranger, Ian Luther. It read, “Hey Katy! I don’t think we’ve met but I’d like to!”

Katy was a little hesitant to respond but after some serious Facebook stalking, she decided he “seemed normal.” She messaged back…

Ian was feeling especially bold and proceeded to ask Katy out that very evening. However, Katy did not feel like getting out of her sweatpants and ended up turning him down saying, “Tonight’s not a good night, and I would be too nervous meeting up since I don’t know you at all. But tell me about yourself!”

Ian was bummed he got shot down but excited Katy opened the door to get to know each other.

Over the next couple of days, Ian and Katy talked nonstop and could not wait any longer to meet. They had their first date at Honchos where they sipped spicy margaritas and burned their mouths on queso that was way too hot. The conversation flowed naturally, and when Ian hugged Katy goodbye he said, “I’m so excited about you.”

Ever since, Ian and Katy have been inseparable and enjoying life together with their two cats, Minnie and Vader. They just bought and moved in to their first home together. It's a fixer upper where Ian can utilize his handy skills and Katy can use her creativity to build a beautiful home together.
