What is the dress code?

Formal attire requested. Appropriate attire in the Russian Orthodox Church is the same as it would be for any church ceremony. Women should wear skirts/dresses, preferably knee length or longer, and men should be respectfully dressed.

What about transportation?

We will have Uber vouchers available so guests can travel between the hotels, church and venue. The vouchers will be active between 12pm on 2/16/25 and 3am on 2/17/25. Please see the “Uber Vouchers” tab for the link and code.

What is the ceremony like?

The ceremony will last about an hour- comfy shoes are recommended. There is limited seating in the church, and it is reserved for those who are unable to stand for long periods of time. There is no handicapped access but please let us know in advance if you require assistance and we will make sure that there will be help provided. We ask that as guests exit the church, they remain near the church doors for the couple's exit.

What are some of the differences between a Russian Orthodox ceremony and other wedding ceremonies?

Applause: During the service, the couple's matrimony should not be applauded. Please hold all applause until the couple has exited the church. Rings: The rings will be placed on the bride and groom's right hands. Orthodox wear their wedding rings on the right hand because that is the hand they use to make the sign of the cross.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is street parking at the church. Valet parking will be available at Maritime Parc at 4pm, please bring your ticket inside with you. The Doorman in the lobby will validate parking at the end of the night.

What if I get to the venue before cocktail hour starts?

The first floor lobby of the venue will be open at 4:00 and guests can enjoy sparkling water, prosecco, and other complimentary drinks. Guests can also check out Liberty State park.

Are kids allowed?

We respectfully request no children at our wedding celebration.

What is the rsvp date?

Please book accommodations and rsvp to the wedding by January 15th.
