Bridesmaids

Annie is my younger sister — she is full of energy and kindness! She is always ready to speak the truth in love and start wild adventures for the whole family. She reflects Christ’s unconditional love no matter what mood I happen to be in.

Audrey and I became close during my senior year of college when we lived together. She is incredibly loyal and has always been present in the little day-to-day moments of life. I’m so grateful for her steady presence and servant-hearted friendship.

Esther and I met in freshman year German class at Calvin, and our friendship quickly grew through shared laughter and spontaneous adventures. Her calmness, humor, and kindness have been such a gift.

Anna Grace and I lived together freshman and sophomore years of college and became best friends through praying together every night before bed. She is always quick with a kind word and a funny story, and she brings joy and light into every room.

Elizabeth and I became friends while serving together on student senate. She is the queen of sending calendar invites and creating space for meaningful conversations. I deeply admire her work ethic, intentionality, and care for others.

Gretchen and I became friends during our time as wallmates in college. She consistently reminds me of how deeply Jesus loves me and has been a gentle, faith-filled encourager throughout our friendship.

Kayla and I have been close since high school cross country. Despite spending most of our friendship long-distance, she has always been there for me. She is always ready for deep conversations and has a remarkable gift for listening well and offering wise encouragement. 
*Unfortunately, Kayla will not be able to attend the wedding day, but she has been so supportive throughout this whole process!

Cris and I met during our freshman year of high school through sports, but our friendship deepened when he joined my church and friend group. He is honest, caring, and a steadfast friend who helps keep me accountable in my walk with Christ.

Mari has known me the longest and has truly been my ride or die. I am so grateful to have grown up alongside him, not only as my biological brother but also as my brother in Christ. His presence in my life is an incredible blessing.

I met Isaiah in 2021, and he has never been one to shy away from a good time or from getting the party started. He is bold, adaptable, and intentional in life, relationships, and faith. I’ve learned so much from the way he lives and leads.

Although I still have much to learn about Jack, one thing I’ve never questioned is the authenticity of his faith. He lives with bold conviction, and I’m encouraged by his example. I look forward to the friendship we’ll continue to build as brothers and brothers in Christ.

Caleb and I have known each other since we were kids, but we became especially close during high school and beyond. I deeply appreciate his loyalty, generosity, and his heart for God. His honesty and consistency are a gift in our friendship.

I first met Spencer in 2018 when he was my youth pastor. Over time, our relationship grew into a deep friendship. He has been like a father figure to me and continues to inspire me through the way he faithfully lives out his beliefs.

Grand Rapids (GRR) – Gerald R. Ford International Airport- This is the closest major airport to our venue, about 45 minutes (45 miles) away. Chicago O’Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW)- If you're having trouble finding a good flight into Grand Rapids, flying into Chicago is another option.O’Hare International Airport (ORD): ~2.5 hours (140 miles)Midway International Airport (MDW): ~2.25 hours (130 miles) We recommend renting a car if you're coming by plane.

Since our wedding falls on a Sunday, guests who are interested in attending church that morning are warmly invited to our home church, Victory Point Church in Holland. The service begins at 10:00 a.m., and all are welcome—whether you are local or visiting for the weekend.

With miles of Lake Michigan shoreline to explore, you’d be remiss if you didn’t spend some time digging your toes in the sand. Each beach has its own personality. Follow the link below to discover which one suits you best.

This 11-mile route offers gorgeous views of the local scenery. Choose between two options: a bike lane along 64th Street or paved trails on the side of 62nd Street (which the locals call the Beeline Trail). If you are up for a challenge, cruise from downtown Saugatuck to the South Side of Holland and back!

Both charming downtown areas offer unique shops, great restaurants, and classic lakeshore vibes. If you’re staying near Saugatuck, explore Water and Butler Streets. If you’re in Holland, head to 8th Street. Each is easy to navigate and perfect for a relaxed afternoon of shopping.
