Our Wedding

The first date was something that you wouldn't normally expect. A bit unorthodox for me but she suggested that we go to Kennywood, an amusment park. In my head I'm thinking sure why not this girl has a bright smile and I've never been on an amusement park date as my first date. Well when the time came, we were at Kennywood and she was showing me around taking me to all the rides that Kennywood is known for. Most of these rides are the standard over the shoulder latch with the typical loops and corkscrews except for this one ride. Just before we leave she leads me to the back of the park to get in the line for the Exterminator. Hindsight is 20/20 but I should've known something was up when the line for the ride was outside then there was ANOTHER LINE on the inside of the building. Low and behold this ride was a seatbelt and lapbar death machine. IN THE DARK! Like what maniac thinks that this is a ride to design let alone take a date on??? Well that Kaycee I guess. Still love her for the unpredictability but I was cursing and hollering riding that rollercoaster. Turning and whipping around not knowing where I was at, all the meanwhile shes giggling her head off because she knows what's going on. After everything was said and done I knew that she was going to keep me on my toes whether I knew it or not. Somehow I decided in that moment she was going to be the one that was going to make spending time together exciting.

Our First Date

We aren't worldwide yet, but we have plans to see the world. We are a bit versed in vacations, with one of our trips being 12 hours in the car together. We've experienced Cleveland, New York, Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Baltimore, and more recently Atlanta. We do have plans to visit Europe and have more great adventures here in the US. Our favorite thing to do and is a must, are play mini golf or visit the local aquarium. Granted this isn't the PGA tour but Kaycee sure seems to play like it is. Also, taking pictures of the cool aquatic life is a must. We can both confidently say that we've watch a live shark feeding happen right over our heads. Another cool thing we've witnessed is a homerun one section over at a baseball game. But no great trip isn't complete without getting a souvenir. Against better judement, Kaycee collects something from the earth, aka her prized possession an acron. While I'm more of the practical side of things getting a magnet or poster of the place we visit. Whatever the situation may be, I'm glad to have visited them together.

When should I arrive to the ceremony?

We ask that you please arrive before or by 3:45 to allow time for seating.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?

Our wedding will have a Semi-Formal dress code. Gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit or dress shirt. Ladies, a midi-length dress, rompers, or pants suit are great. For this time of year, we’d also recommend a jacket cause you never know with the month of May.

Where to park?

There is parking onsite with staff members coordinating where to park. The parking is on a grass bank slightly below the venue.

Can I bring my kids?

We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate children (babies included) that are not listed on your RSVP at the event due to the nature of the venue. We are more than understanding if this means that you are unable to attend because you are with your families.

RSVP DEADLINE?

The deadline to RSVP for the wedding is April 17th, 2026.

Picutres during the ceremony?

We ask that you go device free during the ceremony as to not cause a disruption. This includes cell phones and cameras. We have a photographer that will be taking pictures during the ceremony. There will be opportunities for pictures with us later in the night if you would like.
