What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding will be pretty casual. The wedding will take place in a barn so we do not expect anything crazy. Sundresses, collared shirts, and khakis are perfect!

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside a barn but two of the walls will likely be entirely open. That being said, dress accordingly to the Iowa August heat!

Can I bring a plus one?

We already added a plus one to anyone we knew had a significant other at the time we made the guest list. If we missed you or you have since gained a significant other, feel free to reach out and let us know and we would be happy to check on numbers and see if we can add one for you. However, we are close on numbers so if there is not a plus one on your RSVP list, we ask that you do not bring one.

What is your policy for kids?

Similar to the plus one policy, if we are planning on your kids joining us they will be listed on the RSVP list. If you would like to bring them but they are not listed with your family, please reach out and we would be happy to look at numbers and see if we can make it work! We love kids and cannot imagine our special day without them :)

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

We will have a free shuttle service that will run from 9am until 1am, bringing people to and from anywhere in Clear Lake or Mason City. The tentative shuttle schedule can be found under the "Travel" tab but if you need an additional stop added, please reach out so we can accommodate! We would love for everyone to have the opportunity to let go and have a great night, safely ;) If you are not staying in the area however, there is plenty of parking at the venue.

How do I RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?

You can RSVP right here on our website. We ask that you RSVP anyone in your party who will attend, including plus ones and children. That being said, only people on the RSVP list may be accommodated, as we do have a maximum capacity at our venue. In addition, we ask that everyone RSVP at least three weeks before the wedding so we can get final numbers to the venue and catering services.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Country Inn & Suites in Mason City. You can find more information at the "travel" tab.

What type of food will be served? I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

We will be having an Italian buffet. There is a place to list any dietary restrictions as well as your entree preference when you RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

We will be purchasing a few kegs for everyone to enjoy, however once those are gone it will turn into a cash bar.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you may bring it to the wedding or have it delivered to our home. The address is listed on the registry.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour as everyone makes their way over to the reception. This will occur from around 5:15 until 6:00.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. We will be starting right on time and would love everyone seated and ready.

Am I allowed to take/ and or post photos from your wedding day?

Yes! Feel free to document the day as you wish. We will also have a QR code on each table leading to an app that takes and shares digital photos. We would love for you to participate so we can can look back at our wedding day from the eyes of all our guests :)

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Feel free to contact the bride directly with any addition questions at 319-596-5034.
