Luke and Kaydree's love story began in third grade when Luke moved to Kaydree's elementary school. From that moment, their lives seemed to intertwine as they grew up side by side. They continued attending the same middle school and high school, where their friendship deepened.

By high school, they had become best friends, sharing everything—from walking each other to class and sitting next to one another in classes they shared, to nightly conversations before bed. Kaydree and Luke then began to hang out outside of school.

Their friendship blossomed into something truly special as they enjoyed ice cream dates, mini golf, bowling, arcade games, and drives around town to admire Halloween and Christmas decorations. On October 31, 2020, their relationship took a new turn. Luke took Kaydree away from a Halloween party under the pretense of getting a “snack” at Walgreens. During the drive, he gave a heartfelt speech about their friendship and how he wanted something more. That night, he asked Kaydree to be his girlfriend.

After graduating high school together, Luke and Kaydree both pursued their studies at Moody Bible Institute. Luke studying the Bible and Kaydree Elementary Education. They grew closer with each passing year. Through every season of their relationship, God has been their foundation, guiding and shaping them.

Four years into dating, Luke asked Kaydree to be his wife, and now they are excitedly looking ahead to a future filled with faith, love, and the plans God has in store for them.
