Our Wedding

Alex and Kayla met in 2015 at Colorado State University. They first noticed each other in Braiden Hall—Alex was an RA, and Kayla lived on the other side of the residence hall. He remembered her for the constant stream of packages at the front desk; she remembered spotting him in the dining hall, thinking he was cute in his fraternity letters. Still, they never spoke until everyone’s mutual friend at the time, Tinder, brought them together.Their first date at It’s a Wrap for lunch in the student center lasted nearly four hours. Kayla almost missed her class later that afternoon, not realizing how long the date had lasted.From there, they dated through college, survived long distance while Alex lived in Vail (Kayla later joining him for a year), and eventually shared homes in Erie, Broomfield, Arvada, and downtown Denver. In 2022, they settled into a condo in Littleton.They got engaged in 2024 on a cruise with some of their closest friends. Together, they’ve made it through college, long-distance, a pandemic, and adopting both a dog and a cat. Now, they’re so excited to share their wedding with you, on their 10 year anniversary.&nbsp;

The ceremony and reception will take place entirely on the beach, so plan for cocktail-style outfits that are polished yet comfortable. We want everyone to look and feel their best while staying relaxed and ready to celebrate on the sand. For Women: Midi or maxi dresses, dressy sundresses, or jumpsuits in lightweight fabrics like chiffon, linen, or satin are ideal. Bright colors and bold patterns are encouraged to complement the beach setting. Skip the heels—flat sandals, wedges, or bare feet are perfect for the sand. For Men: Lightweight button-down or linen shirts paired with slacks or chinos fit the setting perfectly. Jackets and ties are optional, and rolled sleeves or short-sleeve dress shirts are welcome. Opt for breathable fabrics and comfortable footwear, sandals or barefoot are completely appropriate.
