Hayden and Kayla met at Lexa and Gabe’s wedding at the St. Anthony hotel in October of 2023. Gabe is Hayden’s cousin and Lexa is one of Kayla’s best friends. They were both in the wedding and were paired up to walk down the aisle together as a groomsmen and a bridesmaid. They started drinking smoked old fashioneds together during the reception and never left each others side afterwards. Hayden asked Kayla to be his girlfriend December 1, 2023. After dating for one year and one month, Hayden proposed to Kayla in front of the St. Anthony hotel, back where it all started, on January 1, 2025. They are getting married on November 1, 2025 at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where both of their parents got married.
