Who can be contacted with questions?
If you have any questions about Kayla and Peter's upcoming nuptials, please reach out to us via email at KruseWithAKay@gmail.com.
For questions on the day of the ceremony, family should reach out to either Kathy Kruse or Bob Kruse for specific details, as the couple will be occupied.
Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outside of the Grand Barn at the Mohican Treehouses Wedding Venue. Dinner will be seated inside the Grand Barn. Dancing will take place after dinner in the same location as the outdoor ceremony space.
In case of rain, the ceremony and reception will be held at a covered ceremony space on site at the venue.
What should I expect for weather?
September brings close to ideal temperatures to Ohio, however weather can be variable. Typical temperatures range from a high of 80 degrees (midday) to a low of 50 degrees (overnight).
We encourage guests to look at the weather as the event approaches to best plan for this possibility, or wear outfits that can accommodate warm or cool temperatures.
What should I wear?
We ask that attendees dress nicely, and request semi-formal, formal, or cocktail attire. Guests are not required to wear certain colors, however we encourage you to wear the wedding colors if you want!
As these are also the favorite colors of the couple, shades of blue are suggested for the groom's side, while shades of green are suggested for the bride's side.
What are your wedding colors?
Our wedding colors will play up the natural beauty of the location, including dark green, blue, gold, and silver.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Guests can also be dropped off at the front of the Grand Barn, which is adjacent to the parking lot.
Is it ok to take pictures during the ceremony?
We will have an unplugged ceremony and prefer that guests keep their phones put away. Our professional photographers will capture plenty of photos which we will share after the event.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please submit your RSVP online by Thursday, August 8, 2024. Formal invitations will be sent in June. The RSVP page is currently available via this website to accept your response.
Can I bring a date?
All guests are invited by name. We kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests other than those included on the RSVP.
If you have questions, please reach out to the couple at KruseWithAKay@gmail.com.
Are kids welcome?
Due to limited space, only kids that have been cleared through the couple, and listed on your RSVP by name, are permitted at the wedding.
Where can I stay nearby?
For those who wish to stay overnight near the venue, there are several options.
Limited lodging will be available for family and friends who will be attending the rehearsal dinner through the Mohicans Treehouses venue . The couple will arrange lodging directly with these folks.
Others who wish to stay nearby can reserve rooms at the Mohican State Park Lodge (approx. 25 minutes away).
