You might have some questions about the photo with the couple and Kayla's parents and sister. Well here is the story behind it.....

After Nate and Kayla got engaged, they agreed they would wait until arriving home to tell their family. It was fun to enjoy this new time together without other people knowing! But, Nate had something else up his sleeve.

The next day, Nate, Kayla, and Randy went to the local brewery to celebrate their engagement. Little did she know, her parents and sister would be sitting in the front of the brewery, with "disguises". Somehow Kayla and Randy walked right past the group without noticing, but Nate cracked up laughing. He played it off pretty well as she didn't even question him about it.

After the drinks were secured, they headed back to the front to sit in the same area as the group in "disguise" and it went as follows. In a straight line, since they were basically sitting at a bar top, it was Nate, Kayla, Randy, empty chair, empty chair, empty chair, Molly, Patty, and Brian. Kayla and Nate were just getting settled in to their seats when a voice came out and said, "I like your dog!". Without batting an eye, Kayla turned to the people in "disguises" and said, "Thank you!". She turned back around to Nate and continued talking as if she did not just talk to a strange man, wearing a weird mask, and talking in a very high pitch voice with some strange accent. And he also totally wasn't sitting next to two other people with the "disguises". It wasn't until Kayla noticied Nate had tears in his eyes (from laughing so hard at the thank you comment) and the strange group of people were all staring at her that she finally realized it was her family.

It was her dad's idea to purchase these costumes, but in no way did he actually think it would work. Also come to find out, they were sitting at the bar top for quite some time WITH the disguises on. Apparently they got a lot of compliments.
