For our spring wedding, we are requesting garden party formal attire. We want to see all the pastels and vibrant colors to compliment the season! Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place outside. It is encouraged that you bring a light jacket or shawl as the venue is on a lake, which may bring in a light breeze.

A "garden party formal" dress code refers to a style that is a mix of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. This gives our guests comfortability for an outdoor setting. FOR THE GIRLS: Dresses of any length that consist of pastel/vibrant colors, and/or floral prints. Tan/nude heels or wedges. FOR THE GUYS: Suits/sport coats in lighter colors, ties consisting of pastel/bright colors, and/or floral designs. Brown/tan dress shoes. Darker slacks/dress pants such as navy blue are welcomed.

The ceremony will promptly start at 4:00 pm. Please allow ample time to ensure timely arrival.

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation.

Please refer to our travel page for a list of hotels. Greensboro is the closest city to our venue with plenty of overnight options. It is STRONGLY encouraged that you make reservations ASAP as May is a busy season for other weddings, proms and graduations in the area.

We kindly ask that our ceremony stays unplugged and phones/cameras are put away. We have hired an amazing team of photographers and videographers to capture our special day! We can't wait to take photos and videos with you during the reception!
