What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

This is a black tie event. Ladies should wear knee-to floor-length gown or evening dresses. A black dress is a classic option, but guests are welcomed to go for colors as well. The bride and groom requests ladies to not wear white. Gentlemen should wear a suite and tie.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please RSVP accordingly, and let the bride and groom know as soon as possible. Due to vendors needing to know accurate guest counts ahead of time, those who miss the RSVP deadline will be marked as not attending. The couple will hope to celebrate their marriage with you at another time!

What time should I arrive?

The bride and groom recommend arriving thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time.

Where should I park? Is parking free?

The estate is about thirty minutes from downtown Raleigh. While you are welcome to drive yourself, the wedding party will have a shuttle bus running from the hotel block to the venue. The shuttle will run back again after the reception. Valet parking will be provided to those who drive.

Can I leave my car overnight after the wedding?

Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight, for safety purposes, when they are not able to drive themselves home. However, all cars must be picked up and taken off the property by 11am the next morning; otherwise, they will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Are kids welcome?

While we love our little ones, the wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with the newly-weds.

Can I bring a date?

The bride and groom have a strict guest list to stay on budget. The event is strictly RSVP only. When confirming your attendance, you will be made aware of the number seats we have reserved in your honor.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Two ramps surround the venue to allow wheelchair access to both the ceremony and reception locations.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Delight your palate with unique hors d'oeuvres crafted by the chef-owned venue during cocktail hour. Delight your taste buds with a variety of foods curated for an interactive dinner dining experience. Choose from Chicken & Waffles complete with a side of mac and cheese; Carved Prime Rib accompanied by fried fingerling potatoes; and Parmesan Wheel Pasta Station served with grilled chicken and roasted broccoli. To keep the celebration in full swing, enjoy an open beer and wine bar along with a signature cocktail made by the Bride & Groom. There will be a festive display of a Krispy Kreme Flambe and traditional wedding cake for dessert. Sweet tea, raspberry lemonade, water and coffee will be available for guests during dinner, as well.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Yes. The bride & groom will be serving dinner buffet-style with a variety of food options to accommodate most dietary needs.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We are delighted to have talented photographers and videographers present at our celebration, dedicated to capturing the essence of our ceremony. While they focus on documenting the solemn moments, we invite all our cherished guests to actively participate in capturing the joyous and candid moments during the reception! To make this a collective experience, the bride & groom encourage you to share your snapshots by uploading them to our designated Google Drive. This allows everyone to relish and reminisce about the special moments together. However, they kindly request that any pictures featuring their daughter, even if her face is partially covered, not be shared on social media. Additionally, if you plan to share pictures with the bride or groom, please seek their permission before posting. Let's create lasting memories together, and thank you for respecting our wishes!
