On a chilly Sunday in February 2022 - Kayla and Logan met for a drink at Giumarello's. What was supposed to be one drink, turned into hours of easy discussion. Kayla, arrived nervous about meeting someone new. She left excited about the possibilities. Logan left and immediately called his sister to say he met someone new - someone he knew could be the one...

Kayla famously told her mom that she would consider becoming a nun because she didn't know if she could find someone who was normal, who'd watch sports with her on the weekends, and would be interested in starting a family in South Jersey. Although Logan may not be normal (see the winter surfing hobby) - he LOVES watching sports. Furthermore, his best man Marty once noted that he always knew Logan would end up in the greater South Jersey / Philadelphia area.

After a rocky second date (ask Logan about it, one of his favorite stories), their pup Georgie helped smooth things over and make sure their chemistry was given the chance to turn into love.

Their relationship has been highlighted by time spent at (and on) the beach, donating their time to causes they care about, road trips to Maine and Canada, dancing lessons, time spent playing and watching sports, and spending time with each others' families.

Each of them know that their wedding day will be perfect, simply because the other will be up on the alter.
