The year was 2021. Covid had changed our world and all social norms, and meeting new people was a whole new ball game. We met through a dating app, the only way we knew how to date at the time.

After weeks of chatting, we finally got together for a first date at Mioposto. Chuck recommended it knowing Kayla's love for Italian food. The connection was instant - easy conversation, cracking jokes, and sharing meatballs. The date was so good we even extended it and went to another bar for a nightcap (on a Tuesday!!!!). We had our second date planned before that first date ended, and we both went home with giddy smiles.

Since that first date, we've hit plenty of memorable milestones together. We met each others families, moved into our first home together, and got engaged in October 2024. We are thrilled to be taking this next step in our love story and tying the knot in 2025!
