Q+A

When is the RSVP deadline?

We would love to hear from you by September 30, 2025 if you’re able to attend. By then, we hope you’ve had a chance to look into the costs and details. We understand that life can change, so we will send a final RSVP request 6 months prior to the wedding. At that time, it will be essential for us to know if you plan to attend, as we will need to finalize arrangements such as catering, seating, stationery, etc.

Do I get a plus one?

Yes! However, since we’re keeping our wedding small and intimate, we kindly ask that you check with us before inviting anyone we haven't met. We appreciate your understanding!

Do I have to stay everyday?

No! We have the venue booked 9/1-9/4. We are hosting a welcome dinner on 9/1 and the wedding day is 9/2. You are welcome to join us for as long or as little as you'd like.

What airport do I fly into?

There are several airports nearby. For most guests, Florence (FLR) will be the easiest and most convenient option. However, Rome (FCO) and Pisa (PSA) usually have more flight options, are more affordable, and offer more direct flights. See below for more details.

Closest and most convenient: Florence (FLR) and Pisa (PSA)

Best flight options and prices: Rome (FCO)

Other options: Milan (MXP), Venice (VCE), Turin (TRN), Bologna (BLQ)

1. Florence Airport (Aeroporto di Firenze Peretola - FLR)

Distance from Venue: 25 miles (approx. 45 minutes by car)

Pros:

• Closest airport to the wedding venue.

• Airport is small and easy to navigate.

Cons:

• Limited direct flights.

• Poor taxi service and no ride share options. To get to the venue, you would need to arrange pick up prior to arrival or rent a car.

2. Pisa International Airport (Galileo Galilei Airport - PSA)

Distance from Venue: 75 miles (approx. 1.5 hours by car)

Pros:

• Offers a wide range of international flights, especially from budget airlines.

• Larger airport with more transportation options.

Cons:

• Can be busy

3. Rome Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci International Airport - FCO)

Distance from Venue: 170 miles (approx. 3.5 hours by car)

Pros:

• Major international hub with the widest range of international flights, often direct.

• More transportation options, including a high-speed train with a stop close to the venue.

• Flights are usually more affordable.

Cons:

• Longest travel time from the venue.

• Larger airport and usually very busy.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

We strongly recommend renting your own personal vehicle. However, we are working with our wedding planner on a shuttle service from the Florence Airport for those who will not have a rental car. For those flying into Rome, there is a train that stops close to the venue.

Will transportation be provided on the day of the wedding?

Yes, we are arranging a complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue on the wedding day.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Yes, there will be plenty of parking.

What should I wear?

The dress code for the wedding day is formal, so please no jeans. Beyond that, we encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel your best!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be outdoors.
