Our Wedding

Our story began in 2018, thanks to a little matchmaking by one of our bridesmaids. Big shoutout to Felicia! It all started at a friend’s gathering, where we instantly clicked. Our early dates were full of laughter, enjoying simple moments together, and getting to know each other better. As we spent more time together, we realized our connection was something special—we weren’t just falling in love; we were becoming best friends and soulmates. When Covid hit, life slowed down, but our bond only grew stronger. Once the world started opening up again, we discovered a shared love for travel and embarked on many unforgettable adventures together, making memories we’ll cherish forever. And then along came Leo, our fur baby, who has become such an important part of our lives. We can’t imagine our journey without him by our side. Now, we can’t wait to spend our wedding day in Italy, surrounded by all of our loved ones!

Our Story

We highly suggest arriving to Mattinata on May 27th, given that our first event will be held on May 28th in the evening.This is to give you time to settle in and unwind before the celebrations!

Standard rooms are the same<em style="font-size: var(--tkww-union-typography-scale-300-font-size,1rem); color: var(--tkww-union-color-text-default,var(--tkww-union-color-neutral-black,#000)); font-family: inherit; font-weight: var(--tkww-union-typography-regular-font-weight,400);"> on the inside (19 sqm rooms including bathroom) differing only in the view and size of the balcony/terrace. - These are all double/twin rooms, with the possibility of the addition of the 3rd bed in 6 of them and one that can have quad occupancy.&nbsp;- The rate per room is 130€ per night, in double or double single occupancy.&nbsp;- There is an extra charge of 30€ per night for adding a 3rd bed.&nbsp; The rate reserved for you includes:- Buffet breakfast served from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at our Restaurant- Wi-Fi Internet connection- The use of the outdoor parking area with video surveillance - 1 parking space per room&nbsp;&nbsp; Not included in the rate:- The City of Mattinata Tourist Tax (for 2024 is d i€ 2,50 per day per person, up to 14 nights)- any extras required Other information:- Check-in and opening of the facility is guaranteed from 3:30 pm,&nbsp;- Check-out is scheduled for 11:30 am. Payment, cancellation and room guarantee arrangements:To book their room, guests can write directly to info@lacasaeilmare.com, informing them that they are guests of the event so they will be granted the special rate.Such reservations will include a deposit (non-refundable) of 30% and a credit card guarantee upon confirmation and the balance 30 days prior to arrival. In case of cancellations made up to 30 days before the arrival date, no charge will be made (in addition to what has already been paid as deposit). In case of cancellations or changes made after this deadline or in case of no-show, 100% of the cost of the entire stay will be charged.

MANDATORY VISA - ETIAS

As of May 2025, it is mandatory to apply for a ETIAS visa for any travel to Europe.  You can do so online as of MAY 2025. Please see the official website:  https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias/faqs-etias_en

TRANSPORTATION

1- If you are travelling WITHOUT a car:   There are no buses that go directly to the venue in Mattinata. The buses stop in the bigger nearby cities and do not go to Mattinata. There are no taxis either in this area.    If you plan to take a bus/train, you need to email the venue to arrange private transportation from the nearest bus/train stop (same email used for booking the hotel rooms). They can arrange transportation to the venue at your own cost.    2 - If you are travelling with a car:   You can drive directly to the venue. They have a big parking lot and parking is free.

DRESS CODE 

Dress code for welcome dinner on May 28: please dress in white/light beige only! This is an all white party 🤍   Dress code for wedding day May 29: no white allowed! Only the bride wears white 😉  Dress code for post-wedding brunch on May 30: no dress code, we will be all partied out so dress as you please!
