Whew where do we even begin?!

Kyle and I have known each other since he attended Thaddeus Stevens with my Stepbrother. I will never forget he came over to my house one day and it may sound silly to say, but I think I was secretly instantly infatuated with him from that day. He was also in my Stepbrother's wedding but, unfortunately, we didn't get to walk together, and I was too nervous to make friendly conversation.

Fast forward a few years and, Kyle plays pool on my dad's Thursday night team. So, he pretty much knew everyone on my dad's side of the family before we had worked up the courage to talk to each other let alone go on a date. One Thursday my dad comes home from pool and lets me know that Kyle is now single. Not very often you get the dad approval before going on a proper date.

Kyle started showing up at my work in the evenings, but we were both too nervous to even make eye contact. It took the help of two of our friends to get us to exchange social media and phone numbers, and I'm so glad they did.

We started officially dating in November 2019. When August of 2020 came around, I had gone away to out of state college. I never thought it would be so hard to be away, but it was. We facetimed every night before bed and had visits both ways over the three years of long distance. Finally, I graduated in May of 2023. That last year of school, in September 2022, Kyle and I took our yearly fall trip up to my cabin where we go for the fall elk rut. It's usually around my birthday, so I thought it was just our usual trip. At one of our favorite places to visit and hike in Elk County, Kyle proposed to me! I was so shocked and surprised; I was not expecting it at all.

Now, here we are planning our wedding day, and we can't wait for you to be there with us!
