If your invite is extended to "and family" or formally states your child's name, they are invited. If you are unsure, please reach out and ask the bride or groom!

Wear what makes you comfortable, but use this night as an excuse to doll yourself up! We know it feels good to look good! We would appreciate semi-formal clothing. And of course, no white dresses!

We know that this is one of the million dollar questions, so we will just give it to you! Five Hawgs BBQ will be catering our favorite.. brisket, chicken and delicious sides! We hope you enjoy!

No outside alcohol can be brought into the venue. Please respect the rules of our rental policy. There will be on site staff that will be looking out for this and we would hate for you to not be able to create memories on our big day by being dismissed from the venue. We will be providing as much alcohol as we can afford for the evening.

There are multiple hotels in surrounding towns including Altoona, Colfax and Pleasant Hill. We are requesting a courtesy block at the Hampton Inn & Suites (Altoona- Des Moines). Please refer to the travel tab for other suggestions!

Our goal is to have good enough weather to have our ceremony outside, please come prepared for any potential Iowa weather. If there are any chances or rain or snow within 24 hours of the wedding, we will likely hold the ceremony indoors.
