Our story began like any other... during a global pandemic!!

Anthony and I met in March of 2020. I was supposed to be running a St. Patrick's Day 5k with Amanda, Joel, and Steph however the country shut down just two days prior. Instead of canceling our plans altogether, Matt and Steph invited us over to watch a movie and get some take-out. We settled on the newly released Frozen 2 movie on Disney Plus+ (*Disney please sponsor our wedding!) We were all sitting around talking when Matt brought up the crazy coincidence that his younger brother was single and that I just so happened to be as well. Little did I know, Matt and Steph had been working behind the scenes playing match maker. If you are questioning if things worked out for us... just keep reading! You see, Matt told me he had a younger brother but I had never met him up until this point. Right when he entered the room and I read his shirt that has "Kiss me I'm Irish" crossed off and below it said "Blow me I'm Italian" I knew then that his little brother was a total tool. Our first conversation had to do with football and Taylor Swift, not so different from the conversations we still have to this day! I remember leaving their house that night thinking about how awesome it was to talk with Anthony and how I definitely misjudged him from his shirt. One thing was for certain and I knew that he was a guy I would want to find when I decided to get back into the dating scene.

About a month later I received a text from Steph. She was just checking in on me and seeing how my quarantine was going. She brought up that little charmer I met a month back and told me that he had been asking about me. Then she asked if it would be okay if she shared my number with him. I told her I didn't mind and a couple days later I received a text.

Looking back at it now, I could have never imagined from that one little text that we would have ended up where we are today. Little did I know at the time but that first text was the beginning of our forever. From that first text I got to know who Anthony was and vice versa. He went from my friend Matt's little brother, to a friend, best friend, boyfriend, fiancé, and very soon my husband!

It didn't take long for us to both know that at last, we found "our person"! What better way to put that statement to the test than to become roomies!! Anthony and I moved into a house but together we made it our home.

I have been blessed ever since Anthony entered my life. All of our adventures and milestones have been such a fun and exciting journey.
