Emma and Kayla have been best friends for over 20 years. Most of their younger days were spent on a soccer field or basketball court, traveling together in hopes of bringing home a victory. They continue to travel life together, although their new journeys look much different. One thing has never changed, they continue to support, cheer, and sometimes push and pull each other to ensure they are victorious in this thing called life.

Kayla has literally known Katie since the day Katie was born. Their moms were college roommates and remain best friends today; therefore the girls were destined to be more like sisters. Growing up they spent many family vacations and adventures together, oh the family secrets these girls could share!

Caroline is Kayla’s future sister in law! She is marrying Kayla’s brother (please help her Lord 😊). Kayla is so thankful for Caroline; she is the sweetest and is looking forward to welcoming her new bonus sister officially to the family. They have much to celebrate together in 2024!

Kayla and Kris both met Ashely at West Virginia University their freshman year of college. They lived on the same dorm floor and have been besties ever since. Their living quarters remained close throughout their college years as they found each other again as neighbors at 89 Mason their senior year (ohhhhh the stories they have)!

Kayla has always referred to Autumn as her twin. They were born at the same hospital, by the same doctor, on the same day, and just a few hours apart. Funny how life works out, over the years Autumn and Kaya’s friendship grew and were blessed to become besties and college roommates!

Kacey is married to Kris’s brother making her Kayla’s soon to be sister in law! Kacey and Kayla know how to have a great time and liven up any party! Have you noticed all the “K’s” in this Barmoy family? The girls wonder if finding a wife with names beginning with a “K’” was a requirement of the Barmoy brothers.

Kara is Kris’s sister making her Kayla’s future sister in law! They have already made many great memories over the past six years including many great lake days, making many charcuterie boards, and being an auntie to Kara's daughter Brea! Kayla can’t wait to be officially be part of the Barmoy’s family!

Kyle is Kris’s older brother, and Kris would have thought of no other person he would want to stand beside him on his wedding day. Kris’s best memories of time spent together were skateboarding on their half pipe in the back yard, wakeboarding and wake surfing on Lake Anna, and hitting the slopes snowboarding at Ski Liberty. Kayla is most grateful that Kyle was not successful in turning Kris into his “little prodigy” and the gene for “extreme sports” stopped with Kyle!

Jeremy is Kayla’s older brother making him Kris’s future brother in law. In the early stages of his relationship with Kayla, Jeremy didn’t make Kris’s life all fun and games when it came to spending time with his baby sister. Kris quickly realized to just ignore the “harassment” and to just start giving it back! Over the past six years, they have enjoyed hanging together on Cheat Lake, partnering up to take most of the Eckels family “manufactured” wins in Spades, and sharing a glass of bourbon or two.

Kris has been best friends with Austin ever since meeting at McDonalds in Westminster, Maryland in 2nd grade. A friendship quickly grew between them in addition amongst the two families. They enjoyed playing indoor soccer and somehow continuously convinced Austin’s mom that it was a great idea to drop them off on top of mountains so they could long board down. Austin now lives in Kris’s favorite place, and he loves to visit him in Miami.

Chris and Kris met as suitemates at West Virginia University in Summit Hall. They continued to be roommates their entire college career making Sunnyside and the Bullpen their home away from home. The two shared their love for WVU sports as they joined the Mountaineer Maniacs. They would spend many hours in line at the coliseum to guarantee their seats at the game. Kris is most grateful they continue to connect with fantasy football and sharing their views on their favorite sport teams

Kris met Connor at West Virginia University as they both are members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. They were surprised to find out they literally grew up 30 minutes apart in the “old bay” state of Maryland. Connor is Kris’s go to golf and bourbon buddy and let’s not forget beer pong partner.

John has been one of Kayla’s lifetime friends (since preschool) so of course a friendship quickly grew between Kris and John. Kris and John are also Pi Kapp Phi fraternity brothers. Kris and John have spent many hours together tailgating in the blue lot during the WVU football games. The guys continue their “good times” as they enjoy traveling together, poker nights, and days on Cheat Lake.

Keith is Kris’s bonus brother as he is married to Kris’s sister. He gave Kris one of his most important family roles when he gave Kris the uncle title to his daughter, Brea. You can find the fellows in deep conversations discussing workout regiments or sports. There is much hackling between the two as both question each other’s choices of favorite sport teams.
