Brandon and Kayla both went to college at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Despite passing each other on the sidewalks multiple times, they never officially met.In February of 2022 they matched on a dating app. Kayla was quick to start drilling Brandon with interview style questions, but Brandon handled it all with ease and the first date was set at Cheddars. A few days later, Brandon ended up with free Eric Church concert tickets. After an amazing concert, they ended up stranded in the parking garage with no cell phone service for over 3 hours! By the time Brandon dropped Kayla back off at home, they had spent over 8 straight hours together. They both knew after that date they had found someone special. On November 12, 2022 Brandon proposed to Kayla while taking pictures for Christmas Cards at Schweitzer Orchards.
