Dahlonega is a cute little town with a number of hotels within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shopping. If you are looking for activities in addition to the wedding, we would recommend staying here. It is 17 mins away from Lilly Creek.

We have a block of rooms at this hotel. There are only 10 rooms available in this block and they will be released on May 14, 2025.

Take a hike to where we got engaged! This is about a 5 mile hike in total, with gorgeous 360 views from the rocky cliff face of the mountain. Other hikes in the area include: Preacher's Rock, Raven Cliff Falls, and Blood Mountain.

There is plenty of shopping, restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoy this cute little North GA town and all that it has to offer. Some local quirks include: Ghost Tours, the Crimson Gold Mine, and the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve and Zoo.

Grab a glass of wine and take in the views! There's plenty of wineries in the area; you could also check out Wolf Mountain Vineyards, Three Sisters Vineyards, Cavender Creek, or many others all within 20 minutes of downtown Dahlonega
