Colorful Black Tie Optional

So, what does Black Tie Optional mean?

Black Tie Optional means that the Bride, Groom, and the rest of the bridal party (including parents and relatives) will be in Black Tie attire. All invited guests will have the OPTION to also wear Black Tie attire, but it is not a requirement. If guests do not wish to wear Black Tie attire, Formal Attire is the standard.

But, what's the difference between Black Tie and Formal?

The difference between these two dress styles, for those choosing to wear dresses, has to do with LENGTH and STRUCTURE. Black Tie dresses go all the way down to touch the floor, while Formal dresses normally stop around ankle length. Black Tie dresses are also much more structured than Formal dresses. This means, boning in the bodice, thicker and more intricate fabrics, and /or tailoring that is specific to individual body types.		For those choosing to wear suits or tuxes, the difference in these styles is much more simplified. Tuxedos are the requirement for Black Tie. Your actual tie does not have to be black, guests are encouraged to experiment with color. If you would like to go the Formal route, a nice suit is great. A tie or bowtie is required.

Todd and Rodney (also known as Toddney) have been collaborators and friends for a very long time, and have recently been touring across the nation in their Ship to Shore series, as well as onboard the Sail Across the Sun Train Cruise.

Cameryn and Kayla have known each other since they were four and three, respectively. Cameryn and her family lived a mere 200 steps away from Kayla's childhood home. From a young age, they were inseparable, and quickly became each others third sister. Through the years they took on all sorts of adventures and activities such as theatre, swim, tennis, and dance. Kayla is so honored to have such a steadfast friend at her side on this big day!
