Sid and Kayla first met while studying at the University of Wisconsin- Platteville in December 2016.

As Sid and some friends from International Club were having lunch, Kayla’s childhood friend, Caitie, invited her to join. From the first introduction, Kayla and Sid had an instant connection. After making it through finals and many snapchats over break, they had their first date at Sid’s favorite restaurant… Olive Garden!

In engineer fashion, Sid decided to take the next step and propose on the 1,000th day of dating, which just so happen to land on New Year’s Day 2020.

Now, after over 5 years together, we cannot wait to tie the knot and start our happily ever after!
