So, most of you know that we had met on the Bumble App, but what most of you probably don't know is that we were both only on that app because of our friends.

When we first started talking Kayla actually really enjoyed the fact that Korey was willing to have a normal decent conversation instead of asking the "boy typical" questions. Also, that Korey didn't run away because within the first 5 minutes of us talking, Kayla was complaining about how Natalina and her were running late for gymnastics and how Natalina just spilled nail polish all over the blanket. The joys of being a single mom and having a two year old did not scare Korey at all.

The whole first part of our relationship went pretty quickly. We had planned to go to a Cleveland Monsters game for our frist date, which was a hit because we both love hockey. (Even though Kayla is only in it for the fights haha). But before we could even make it to the first date we ended up taking turns traveling to each other to hang out for a couple hours since Kayla was in Ashtabula and Korey was in North Olmsted (1.5 hours one direction mind you). Within a week after that first date Korey told Kayla they were dating and Kayla asked him three different times to make sure it was true. Lol.

From there on out life has just been an adventure for the three of us! For the first few months of the relationship Korey had already had multiple vacations planned and we just rolled with the punches. Taking turns visting eachother and making what time we had together worth it, because we both had full time jobs and Kayla was also in school. So for the most part in the beinging there were a lot of short trips and waiting for eachother to get off of work to see eachother for even a few hours.

Fast forward to when Covid hit. We made the decision to move in with each other at Grandma JoAnn's and we will be forever greatful for her taking on 2 additional people in her home. Korey was able to spend 1:1 time with Natalina and Kayla was able to do school from home and still work in the hospital. Few months into that is when Natalina asked if she could call Korey "Dad" and it has been all uphill from there.

In April 2021, Korey planned an entire afternoon, with help, going to Gervasi Winery for lunch/early dinner and then to the Stan Hywet Hall and Garden's for a tour with friends. It was clear all day that Korey was nervous and fidgitty, but Kayla was just confused and excited to go to new places and Natalina was just loving that we all dressed up and went out for a good time. After the tour of the inside of the house. The group decided to walk around back of the mansion to the garden. However, at this point it was starting to rain and Kayla almost ruined it with her "you guys go and I'll wait here attitude" haha. Except Juana wasn't having it and we are glad she didn't. When we got to the garden Kayla was asked what tree she liked on either side of the garden, and when she picked we moved quick from there. We took a family picture and then Juana and Travis called for Natalina to move. Kayla thought we were taking another picture until she realized Korey was getting down on one knee. "I'll be honest unless I watch the video I have no idea what he said because I was just so exicted and happy that i cried and yelled YES!" It was honestly the best day, and one we will never forget.

Then in May 2021 we were able to put in an offer on a house and after the many bumps of buying a house, we had recieved notice that we were clear to sign and move in! So, in June 2021 we moved into our first home together and have been making it ours ever since.

And now to make the family official we are planning our wedding for 10/14/23 and hope that we can all make it to enjoy on such an exciting time for the three of us!
