Brett and Kayla met at his cousin Brandon's house in River Plantation on 12-12-2020 during the crazy pandemic. Kayla's friend Courtney Emmon's invited her to come over and hang out with her during the holidays and she introduced Kayla and Brett and they immediately hit it off. Brett asked Kayla out on a date the very next day. Kayla said yes, and they went to B&B Butchers. Fast forward 3 years later and they have had many dates and adventures with Brett's two little boys Cooper and Luke and Kayla's little dog Julep.
