Our Wedding

<p>If you’ve been around Will and I for any length of time you know our story is a bit humorous. <br>I met Will at a walk the Shelton family held in honor of his dad in September (on my birthday! What a gift!) I didn’t know Will, but I knew his brother Eric which is why my friends and I were there. Eric introduced all of us to Will and asked if we wanted to play basketball. My friends and I agreed, we played, we left, and that was it. My friends and I kept hanging out with Eric every once in a while but it wasn’t until that December that Will came back around because it was basketball season. We started to talk more and more each week after the games but I was oblivious. I would ask Will to hang out with all the basketball fan club his team had but had not intentions of dating Will. He would even come watch me coach my middle school girls basketball team…still oblivious I just thought this guy really likes basketball. It wasn’t until one of my friends asked me if I thought I would ever date Will that I realized hmm this actually could be a good thing! While watching one of Wills basketball games he got hurt eventually resulting in ACL surgery. While Will was sitting in the ER I gave him my number and once we started texting we didn’t stop. After one of my basketball games on January 31, 2022 He asked me “do you want to?” Be his girlfriend that is. We went out that weekend and the rest is history. <br>I have prayed for a man that is kind, smart, caring, intentional, loving, loves basketball, loves my family (especially my niece and nephews), and shows me Jesus everyday and that’s Will Shelton. I cannot wait to spend forever being Mrs. Shelton! </p>
