Our Wedding

In March of 2021, we met online. It all started with Isaiah attempting to give me a scary movie suggestion (he suggested a basic one lol). From there we had talked nonstop for nearly a week, Isaiah then asked me on a date. A few days later, March 20, 2021, we ended up going on our date. Both of us were pretty anxious about our date. I’ll never forget when I first saw Isaiah, seeing how handsome he was(still is), I had so many butterflies seeing him. There was a small hiccup with where we originally planned on having dinner so we went to another location. The minute I got into my car I called my sister and told her how extremely handsome he is. Our first date consisted of sushi, ice cream, and a pinky promise that changed both of our lives forever. He promised me that we would hang out again. A lot of our dates would be us cooking new things together, we learned a lot about each other. On April 16, 2021 Isaiah asked me to be his girlfriend in the cutest way by making me butterflies w/ a card & flowers. From our weekly dates, sleepovers, family vacations, and friend gatherings, it was so easy for us to fall in love with each other. Over the last 3 years Isaiah has loved me in ways I’ve only read about or seen in movies. A few months into us dating we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. On March 20, 2024 Isaiah proposed to me and I, of course, said yes. On March 21, 2025 we will officially become husband and wife. We are so excited to celebrate our union with all of our friends and family.

Jayda & I have known each other for over 20 years. She’s my sister at this point. We’ve watched each other grow up and have helped each other navigate adulthood. She has a one of a kind personality, absolutely hilarious, and she’s a ride or die type of person. I’m so lucky to have her as my sister. She’s taught me a lot of things but most importantly she taught me to always be myself and love myself. She’s an amazing mother and incredibly strong. She’s very open-minded, she’s never judged me for any mistakes I made, she’s always encouraged me to the best version of myself as possible. It’s so rare to have a friendship last for over 20 years, I’m incredibly blessed to have that 

Jayda- Sister

Malika & I have been friends since middle school. We both went to CWU. She’s helped me break out of my shell, she’s always had my back and has been there for me through some hard times. She’s helped me see things in myself that I never saw. She welcomed me into her family while mine were out of state and that’s when I knew I could call her my sister. I’m grateful to have her and the family she’s created in my life. 

Malika- Sister

Salina is one of the most amazing, strong, genuine, and thoughtful person on this planet. Salina is one of Malika’s older sisters. She has taught me to how to put myself first, never to settle, and how to stand up for myself. Since Salina is a few years older than me she’s given me a lot of life advice, in literally all aspects of life. She is incredibly wise and caring. She’s a go-getter and has always inspired me to work hard and to go after anything I want, that if I dream it I can achieve it. She’s honestly a superwoman.

Salina- Sister 

Toni and I have been friends since middle school. From sleepovers to concerts to me being apart of Toni’s wedding, our friendship is and will always be long lasting. After high school Toni attended WSU while I attended CWU. It was hard being away from each other after we used to see each other every day but we kept up with each other and still do as she lives in Cali. Toni is one of the sweetest souls on this planet, she is a ray of sunshine, and she’s a great listener. Her and her family welcomed me as their own when my family was out of the state and that’s when I knew we’d always remain in each others lives as sisters.

Hello everyone I’m Triasunique also known as Tri I have been Kayla’s best friend since 8th grade. Fun fact when I met Kayla I asked her what’s her full name, she told me “Kayla Azhanè Harris”and I told her I’d name my daughter after her if I ever have one. Fast forward years later in our sisterhood I was blessed to give Azhanè, Kayla’s name as promised. We have lived together, cried together, laughed uncontrollably, done debutants together, 14yrs of knowing and seeing Kayla grow into this amazing woman. I look forward to seeing you all as Kayla and Isaiah start their journey! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Tri- Sister

Bailey & I have known each other since our freshmen year of college. Fun fact she was one of the first friends I made in college & I still to this day call her by her last name, which is Kinkers. To know Kinkers is to love her. She has one of the most beautiful & genuine souls on this earth. She has a radiant personality. She brings positivity to literally each & every situation. She is someone I can call on, on one of my worst days and within a matter of minutes she can make me feel better. She’s helped me so much on my toughest days from our college years to now and I’m so  thankful for our friendship

Bailey- Sister

Carmecia is my sister in law, we first met when I lived in Atlanta for a few months. Over the past 5/6 years we’ve known each other, it’s been so heartwarming to see how much we’ve bonded and the growth in our sisterhood. Meci is one of the funniest, compassionate, and supportive people I know. She’s a great big sister to me. From day one she has treated me like I’m her own blood. In fact she’s treated all of my family like her own and for that I will forever be grateful for. She’s always helped me and always listened to me. She got me to apply to work at one of the coolest jobs I’ve ever had, which was at the State Farm Arena. She planned our entire trip to Disney World, she made sure we all had a good time and made sure everyone did whatever they wanted and that’s just an ounce of how thoughtful she is

Carmecia (Meci)- Sister

Moriah is one of Isaiah’s little sisters and she’s a twin. Over the past 3 years, Moriah & I have bonded through our love for movies & tv shows. In fact she’s always down to go to the movies. Also, she’s incredibly talented with doing nails, every time I see her new nails I’m amazed. She’s a teacher, honestly she’s a great teacher. She goes above & beyond for her students, with that being said that should tell you the type of person she is. She’s very open-minded, funny, and very easy to talk to and/or confide in. She always makes people feel heard or seen. I look forward to her officially being my sister 

Moriah- Sister in Law

Maliyah is the baby of the family. She is such a sweet person. She plays basketball and does track, she’s an amazing athlete. I’ve seen only her play a handful of times but she’s killed it every time. She’s very down to earth and funny. One of the first times that Isaiah & I talked about getting married & having a wedding she asked if she could be a bridesmaid and of course I said yes and I could see the excitement when I said yes, I’d love that. Fast forward to now, once Isaiah proposed and it became a reality and it makes me so happy to have her in our wedding party

Maliyah- Sister in Law

Michaela is one of Isaiah’s little sisters and she’s a twin as well. Over the past few years I’ve gotten to know her I can see how funny she is, she’s very outgoing and has a welcoming personality. She was an athlete and from what I’ve heard she was a great athlete as well  We’ve started bonding through our appreciation for EDM. She has great taste in music, style, and decor. I look forward to having her as my sister along with helping decorate our house. 

Michaela- Sister in Law

Jae’ana and I became friends my sophomore year of college. Jae is a couple of years older than me and she’s taught me a lot of things as well. She taught me how to longboard, she’d let me borrow hers all the time until I got one. We’d go ride our longboards, listen to music, and talk about anything and everything. She taught me to always love & appreciate myself. The college town we were at didn’t always make that an easy task, but she always helped me see the value in myself. When I first started to go natural she was always hyping me up to keep wearing it in the awkward/damaged stages, I have so much love for my curls to this day because of her. We have such similar personalities & interests which is why we call each other Twin. My twin is an INCREDIBLE artist, singer, hairstylist, and soon to be mother. She’s such a positive, funny, sweet, authentic, and loving soul. I’m beyond grateful for our friendship/sisterhood.

Jae’ana (Jae)-Twin

Truly the one that knows me the best out of these groomsman.  He’s had 25 years to get to know me so it makes sense. God put him in my life and I’ve been blessed to have him as a brother. Loving father of two and a great DJ.

Jadon- Brother

One of my best friends since childhood from Mt. Olivet to Roosevelt elementary to graduating from High school. Tremendous athlete and splendid coach. 

James- Friend

Another one of my best friends that’s known me since middle school. Another tremendous athlete and just an overall great person.

Bryan- Friend

One of my best friends since 6th grade reconnected senior year of high school. Another tremendous athlete and coach.

Said- Friend

Another brother God’s blessed me with. He’s been a great friend, has a great ear for music, and will always keep it real. I’m excited to have him by my side for such a big day

Tearale- God Brother

One of my best friends from college. Associations- Swerv, X, EOU football. A great guy, great kicker, an expert fisherman, and rapper.

Troy- Friend

One of my cousins always been a huge supporter in my life and is always willing to share his wisdom. Die hard eagle fan as well.

Jordan- Cousin

Another one of my cousins just a cool guy with a good head on his shoulders expert snowboarder and soccer player

Josh- Cousin

New brother just a stand up guy, amazing father, great cook, overflowing with wisdom, and tells some pretty entertaining stories.

John- Brother in Law

This man right here is just a good dude. Great father, friend, and has been like another older brother to Kayla for years. Blessed to have him in my life and by our side for this day

Chris - Friend

Another childhood friend of mine that was family before we knew we were actual family. A man of many talents and future RIAA platinum record holder.
