Our Wedding

In December 2020, Andrew and Kayla were looking for love and their future adventure buddy. Ironically, both were using the dating application Hinge with their location in Denver, Colorado, but neither actually lived there at the time. Kayla was busy exploring the country, checking off one new state and National Park at a time. At the same time, Andrew was finishing the Special Forces Qualification Course in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, set to move to Colorado Springs in March. After over three months of texts, phone calls, and video calls, Andrew and Kayla found themselves in Colorado with the opportunity to meet in person and go on their first date. They must have liked each other as their first date soon became their second, third, and fourth within the first four days of meeting. Over the next several months, Kayla and Andrew explored, skied, and adventured together, falling in love with their surroundings and each other on every hike they took. In January 2022, Kayla and Andrew expanded their adventure couple into a trio, adopting their best friend, Zion. This Australian Cattle Dog mutt can be seen running ahead of them on every hike they take together & in every National Park he is allowed to explore. Today, Andrew, Kayla, and Zion are continuing to love and explore with each other, experiencing new adventures & crossing off bucket list hikes and views every day they can. They are excited to have each of you attend their wedding in Silverthorne, Colorado, where they will share the reasons, they love each other and Colorado with you all.
