What does Formal / Black Tie Optional Mean as a dress code?
Formal, OR Black-tie optional makes your outfit choice more flexible. Men are not required to wear a tuxedo just a nice suit, but if you'd like to dress to the nines, feel free to wear a tux! Otherwise, a dark formal suit is acceptable. Women are more than welcome to wear a floor-length dress, but if you prefer a dressy, knee-length cocktail dress, then feel free.
As a reminder for those coming from out of town, this is a March wedding in the Adirondacks and the weather will likely be COLD. Though the event is inside, please be mindful that your outfit is not too revealing and that you bring a coverup or jacket so you don't freeze in transit!
