Kayla & Josh’s Love Story

HOW WE MET

Josh and Kayla first crossed paths at their home church, Victory Christian Church in Middlefield, Connecticut. What began as mere acquaintances soon blossomed into a strong friendship. Over time, they shared laughs and deep conversations, before they knew it, they found themselves falling in love with each other in the most beautiful way. It wasn’t instant, but rather a gradual, heartfelt journey that led them to realize they had a lot in common and were meant to be together.

Fun Fact: Josh actually asked Kayla out... and she said no! That’s right—Josh put himself out there, and Kayla wasn’t quite ready for a relationship with Josh at that point. Fast forward a year, and Kayla found herself thinking about Josh more and more. Realizing she might have let a good one slip away, she decided to turn the tables and pursue him. And the rest, as they say, is history!

THE PROPOSAL

Josh knew early on in his relationship with Kayla that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. So, when the time was right, he planned a beautiful proposal at Rocky Neck Beach in Niantic, Connecticut. On September 8th, surrounded by the beauty of the Connecticut coast, Josh dropped to one knee and asked Kayla to marry him. Without hesitation, she said YES! It was a perfect moment, and they both couldn’t wait to start this next chapter together.

From their first meeting at Victory Christian Church to the beautiful proposal at Rocky Neck Beach, Josh and Kayla’s journey together has been filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. As they prepare to say I do, they can’t wait to start this new chapter as husband and wife, knowing that the best is yet to come.
