I really was struck by Devin’s affinity for music. How he played songs by ear, and how he used his guitar to communicate. This was the first night he’d played my guitar at my house, and we took turns passing the guitar back and forth and playing songs for each other. I had butterflies the whole time, and felt young and shy. It’s still one of our love languages, music. We both still love playing guitar or piano, and singing together. Worship is where we thrive, opening our hearts together before before the father. Beauty.
