Derek & Kayla's love story began with a swipe on an app, Hinge. Derek's profile popped up on Kayla's screen. She sent him a message, responding to his prompt question "Can you guess which Disney Villain my cat is named after?" Derek didn't make it easy, there were two very cute cats in the photo and she had no idea which cat he was talking about or if it was a boy or girl. Her guess was "If it's the grey cat, Ursula. If it is the black cat, Jafar."
