In January 2023 over MLK weekend Kayla flew to Annapolis to spend the holiday weekend with Matt exploring many museums in Washington, DC.

She headed back over her February break and got to see even more sights!

By March it was Matt's turn to travel home. The week was filled with spending time with both families!

Matt came home again in May for some turkey hunting, time with family and friends and his first spa experience at the Equinox.

Kayla and Matt got to see each other twice this month when they traveled to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague Island National Seashore over Memorial Day weekend! They definitely recommend a trip to Assateague!

In July Matt celebrated his 30th birthday with Kayla, Karyn, Tom, Carter and Emmy in Annapolis!

In August Kayla and her family went camping in Maine and Matt was able to fly in. They spent the week getting lots of beach time, watching sunsets and exploring.

Over Labor Day weekend in September Kayla took a flight to Baltimore while Matt was on a red eye from Seattle after being there for 18 days for work. They spent this quick weekend at an Aerial Adventure ropes and zipline park.

In October they attended their first wedding together in Virginia celebrating Zach and Steph!

Matt and Kayla celebrated Thanksgiving early with their families when he came home in November. They also attended their first concert together in Albany.
