Gabe and I first met on New Years Eve 2021. Thanks to mutual friends, we spent more time together and became fast friends. We saw movies and went thrifting together. When I went on vacation in Summer 2022, I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I didn’t want to be in a relationship with anybody, so this was concerning to me. I didn’t reach out to him for about a month until I stopped thinking about him and thought I was safe from catching feelings.

Soon after, he and I saw another movie together. On the way home, I felt a ton of butterflies in my stomach and I had to admit to myself I’d caught big feelings for him! I invited him to attend Hope Chapel with me and he came. I told him how I felt afterwards in the church parking lot. That’s when he told me he felt the same about me. We went on some dates and a week later, on Sept. 20th, his 26th birthday, we made our relationship official.

The more I got to know him, the more I saw what a wonderful, gentle, loving man he was. We fell in love quickly. I knew he was the love of my life and the person I wanted to marry after 6 months! We started having a series of important conversations about the future and found that we have the same ideas about life, love, faith, and family.

After we finished all our talks, Gabe suggested we get married in 2024. I was so excited!! On Sept. 27th, 2023, Gabe proposed and of course, I said yes!!! Now we’re overjoyed and excited to celebrate the start of our marriage with our friends and family! ♥️♥️♥️
